This was such an insightful event… My 2 key takeaways: 1. Talk about how you help people (not just what you do); and 2. Say something that persuades people to buy (and do that consistently). #qsbm2024 #digitalmarketing

We couldn’t agree with Ward Recycling more 👇 Small Family Business of the Year is a much coveted and highly competitive category. Still time to enter your family business here 🏆: https://lnkd.in/gi9cRrd #celebratesuccess #supportingfamilybusiness #smallbusinesssupport
If Family Business of the Year was the festival headliner at this year’s Midlands Family Business Awards, then Small Family Business of the Year is that up-and-coming band that everybody wants to see. That's why we're proud to sponsor it again this year after presenting the award to Slenderella in Belper in 2023. It’s the most popular category when it comes to entries by far, and we cannot wait to see who enters this year! It's always a difficult judging day. Whatever industry you’re part of, if your family business has a turnover under £5m per year and has a business plan designed around growth and sustainability, get your entry in before April 6th at: https://lnkd.in/g5mM2Gp Why not tag a business that you think should enter this award? Three things the judges are looking for: 👨👩👦 How the family values and the family members have guided the development of the business ℹ Info on the key qualities that make the business a great candidate e.g. product and service development, financial growth and success, family representation 🗓️ Your future plans for the business, including how current and future generations will be involved Thanks so much to all of other sponsors this year MHR, PwC UK, The Handy Family Company Ltd, Premier Community, Family Business Futures, STENCIL, Shakespeare Martineau, Buckles Solicitors and Streets Chartered Accountants. #FBA2024 #businesssuccess #familybusiness #businessawards #midlands #ukbusinessawards #nottinghambusinessawards #familybusinesses #familybusinesslife #familybusinessuk #eastmidlands #westmidlands #westmidsbusiness #eastmids #eastmidsbusiness #lincolnshirebusiness #birminghamuk #birminghambusiness #derbyshire #derbyshirebusiness #northampton #northamptonbusinesses
