In the remote villages of Kannad, Gangapur, Vaijapur, and Khultabad Talukas in Maharashtra's Sambhaji Nagar district, access to primary healthcare is severely limited. The existing Primary Health Care Units (PHCs) are in dire condition, offering inadequate services. These areas grapple with a high prevalence of health issues and this health crisis stems from two critical factors : lack of awareness and insufficient access to quality healthcare services. SBI Foundation, in collaboration with the Borderless World Foundation Official (BWF), is taking strides to address this pressing issue. In an attempt to address the gap and elevate the healthcare standards, 4 Sanjeevani - “Clinic on Wheels” Mobile Vans were flagged off by Dr. Bhagwat Karad, Union Minister of State Finance, Shri. Sanjay Prakash, MD, SBI Foundation and other key management present at the event.
