We partnered with the London Borough of Wandsworth to transform Waterman’s Green into an accessible, vibrant, and inclusive public space along the Putney Embankment. Our work included: - Accessible ramped access, replacing narrow, stepped pathways. - Revitalised landscaping with native planting to boost biodiversity. - A redesigned junction prioritising pedestrians over vehicles. - New seating and social spaces, connecting the community to the riverside. New Freedom Borough Council's approval of the Intermunicipal Agreement of Cooperation with Shrewsbury Township underscores the commitment to promoting regional cooperation and addressing evolving recreational priorities. As communities grow and funding sources become increasingly competitive, the importance of regional recreation initiatives becomes more evident.
