𝗨𝗻𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆… Client wants a case study. Not a problem. I LOVE a good case study. So, we discuss the details, and I explain that once we've wrapped up the deposit, I'll contact the customer, and I can give them a better idea of the submission date. That's when it went sideways. Client: "What customer?" Me: "The subject of the case study. Your happy customer." Client: "But you're writing it." Me: "Yep, but I still need to interview your customer to get all the details." Client: "We don't have a customer. Can't you just write it? Isn't that what we're paying for? Me: "You want me to fabricate a case study?" Client: "Isn't that how it works?" End scene. Sometimes, you have to laugh, or you'd cry 🙂 What's your favourite unhinged client request? Did you comply?
