At the SME Conference we heard a lot on the central theme of on “Unleashing the power of AI on SMEs”. The focus was largely around in How AI can help my business, what can it do , how much does it cost, what hardware and software can we use, how to safely use AI from a cybersecurity perspective. Senior Minister Low Yen Ling shared a tremendous message on the impact of generative AI for Singapore SMEs, especially in the area of sales and marketing content as well as customer service management. She also announced the extension of PBG programs leveraging AI to continue through to May 2025 for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) toreceive dedicated assistance from SME Centre advisers by Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG).These govt programs can help SMEs kick start their journey into using AI. It was great to catch up with old friends and meet new partners at this years conference. Congratulations to all the various SME centres, especially SCCCI who worked very hard to make this wonderful event happen!
