My first time posting here. ✌️ But I’d like to share one of my personal projects. I built a little home for my patch designs. I’ve been sharing them mainly on Instagram, but I felt like it would be nice to have them archived somewhere outside of IG’s grid of tiny squares. Designing them grew out of my love and fascination for space exploration and embroidered emblems as a medium. Mission patches symbolize not only insane technological endeavours, their projects also involve dozens, if not hundreds of people, covering often decades of commitment to make these scientific achievements possible. They serve as cultural artifacts, a means of communication, documentation and identity in human spaceflight. With each design I want to create a symbol that encapsulate the mission’s essence. Some are more obvious and prominently depict a spacecraft's shape itself, while other designs incorporate coded elements like scientific goals or exploration targets. Connectors play an often-overlooked role in spaceflight applications. Space vehicles are typically manufactured from sub-assemblies which are brought together before launch. In this article, we discuss how connectors provide the vital interface between the extensive testing regime before launch and the demanding conditions found in space. it looks nice and changes somehow from the historical absence of #Poland in the list of countries that had the ambitions to develop the #rocket launch systems. It is worth to remind that originally that absence had been imposed by soviet union during communist period directly and through eastern block control organisms, such as Warsaw Pact and COMECON. After 1989 the polish space activity was developing slowly and main impulsion was given in early 2010s and subsequent integration of Poland to European Space Agency - ESA . The ambitions for launchers are even more recent endeavour coming from historical research from such places as Technical University of Warsaw Łukasiewicz - ILOT, however the development of sounding rockets is now developing steadily with those actors and newspace, such as SpaceForest.

This meta-scientific #knowledgetransfer from #NASA is "one small step" for a #commercialspace industry. As so often in our preeminent collaboration between the #publicsector and #privatesector, this new initiative can build on the model provided by the #entrepreneurialstate, again, without the pain of creating something from scratch. It also is "one giant leap" for private sector innovators who seek to adapt such models even more broadly in a #science of #primarycare that can guide entrepreneurial development of new-to-the-world #businessmodels for primary care that utilize NASA's aspirational risk-informed decision making.

The LightShed Ventures team could not be more excited for today's unveiling of the completed capsule. Brandon Ross Walter Piecyk Jamie Roberts Seltzer Xavier Parkmond Excelsior is now the largest #spaceflight capsule in existence, and soon to be the largest human #spacecraft in operation (excluding the International Space Station). Its spherical capsule is 16 feet (4.9 meters) in diameter, providing a pressurized volume of more than 2,000 cubic feet (60 cubic meters) – roughly two times the volume of Virgin Galactic’s Spaceship Two and Blue Origin’s New Shepard, and about four times that of #SpaceX's Crew Dragon. Uncrewed test flights pave the way for human test flights later this year. Data gathered during our upcoming flights will inform the build of a human-rated Spaceship Neptune capsule, which will be only the seventh new human spacecraft designed and built in the last 50 years. 2/2 Promotion of spaceport infrastructure funding, whether from government grants or private sources, given how important infrastructure is to all modes of transportation, Improving human space flight training by allowing people to buy tickets to fly in the back seat of high performance or former military aircraft. That is something that is allowed in other countries, and NASA continues to use such aircraft to train its astronauts. The policies should be changed to allow that type of training to be done commercially in the United States. Establishment of a goal to support the development of point to point transportation, with all the potential benefits that will have for our international spaceport community.
