𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀’ 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 It's a story I know all too well. Late nights, endless hours, and a constant sense of pushing a boulder uphill. I poured my heart and soul into my business, but growth always seemed just out of reach. Sound familiar? I thought I was doing everything right. I had a solid strategy, a strong work ethic, and an unwavering commitment to success. But something was missing. It wasn't until I took a long, hard look at my team that the pieces fell into place. You see, I had settled for a team that was comfortable with the status quo. They were reliable, sure, but they lacked the hunger, the drive to innovate and push boundaries. I found myself constantly managing, guiding, and course-correcting. It was exhausting, and worse, it was holding my business back. So, I made a tough call. I let them go and set out to build a new kind of team – a growth-oriented team. I sought out individuals who were as passionate about my business's success as I was. People who didn't just follow instructions but proactively sought ways to excel, innovate, and drive the business forward. Yes, it was a heavy lift at first. But then… Suddenly, I wasn't bogged down in the day-to-day management. I was free to focus on my strengths – strategizing, building relationships, and steering the ship. My team took ownership of their roles. Within 12 months, we grew from 3 to 9 staff and more than doubled our client base. Looking back, investing in the right team was the single best decision I ever made for my business. It taught me that the people you surround yourself with are just as critical as the strategies you employ. So, let me ask you: Is your team propelling your business forward or holding it back? #growth #strategy #opportunity #businessimpact #scaletoimpact #operationsmanagement

Elevating Leaders & Teams | Strategic Planner I Culture-building Executive Coach I Speaker I Trainer
A few months back, a client came to me with something I hear quite often. He wasn’t working on the business. The business was working him. And it was showing up in: - His closest relationships (he was present, but not really there, often in a 5-mile stare, thinking of everything needing to get done) - His day-to-day (the things that used to get him excited and motivated for the day seemed dull and flat) - His focus (he couldn’t get creative and just felt stuck going through the motions each day) He also shared that the business had strong results, but he knew that with the right key shifts, he could take his profits and impact to a whole new level. He was existing, but he wasn’t thriving. And because his business is mission driven (he cares deeply about those he serves) it caused even more friction internally. He couldn’t “should” his way out of it. “I should spend time on doing that next week” or “I should make more time to”….. That day never came, and the results never changed. We dove into the root causes - digging deep with some strong questions to uncover some key levers. And then we did something powerful. We crafted a clear, actionable plan together. Something he could move forward on, week after week. With deadlines and accountability baked in. (to make it real and build on the growth) Which, when walked out, always leads to real freedom. In less than 90 days, he got massive clarity on his business, doubled his capacity, built in more time for projects and working on expansion, and most importantly, is much more present for his team and family. He loves every facet of his business now and is more excited to grow than ever before. If you're feeling stuck and want the freedom (that only comes by putting in the work) to lead strategically, shoot me a note. #businessstrategy #executivecoaching #strategicplanning #growthmindset

In the relentless pursuit of our goals, it's crucial to remember that at the heart of every business transaction, project, and innovation, there are people. 🌟 The essence of success lies not just in the objectives we achieve but in the strength and warmth of the relationships we nurture along the way. 🤝 Sometimes, in the hustle of our ambitions, we forget the human element, overlooking the very people who could be pivotal in our journey. We might not realize it now, but there will come a day when we'll need people more than anything else. That's why it's essential to build valuable relationships and ensure we don’t make enemies along the way. You never know who they know or what they have up their sleeve. Remember, there are many players in the game, and it's all about who can play it the best. 😉 Behind every thriving company stands a team of resilient, passionate individuals united by a common vision. After all, we don't work with companies; we work with people. They are the key to unlocking the next stage of growth and innovation. 🔑💼 Staying humble and kind is more than just a mantra; it's a pathway to true success. 🌱 By embracing our own stories and the journeys we've traversed, we're reminded of the importance of lending a hand to help others rise. 📈 Every story has its lessons, and every journey has its challenges. Sharing these experiences can light the way for others, just as the guidance of those who came before us has illuminated our paths. Let's commit to fostering environments where collaboration, empathy, and genuine human connections thrive. Let's remember to value each person we work with, recognizing the integral role they play in our collective success. 🌍 Together, we can achieve remarkable things. Let's keep pushing forward, with humanity at the heart of all we do. 💖 #TeamworkMakesTheDreamWork #HumanFactor #StayHumbleAndKind #BusinessGrowth #Collaboration #SuccessThroughSynergy #Leadership #BuildingRelationships #NetworkingWisely

We understand that the core of any business isn't its strategy, technology, or products—it's its PEOPLE. At Enterprise Stewardship, we recognize that individuals are the true DRIVERS of business success, shaped by the principles they embody. Today's leaders often grapple with intricate team dynamics, which can lead to communication breakdowns, misalignment with the company's vision, and phenomena like quiet quitting. These issues can significantly erode productivity. Addressing these challenges requires focusing on the Four C's: Character, Connection, Competence, and Commitment. These qualities not only propel individual and team success, but also strengthen the integrity of your business. They align directly with the core values essential for any faith-driven entrepreneur that we discussed last week. What do we mean when we talk about the 4 C's? Dive into the details below or explore our carousel to learn more. 1) Character: The moral compass guiding every decision and interaction within your business. Rooted in the principle of Honoring God, character ensures integrity and ethical conduct under all circumstances. 2) Connection: The ability to establish and maintain meaningful relationships with colleagues and customers. Stemming from the principle of Serving People, connection focuses on building a supportive and engaging work environment that serves team and clients well. 3) Competence: The ability to perform job responsibilities at a high level. Tied to the principle of Pursuing Excellence, competence ensures that your team not only meets but exceeds the standards set forth in your industry. 4) Commitment: The dedication to stick with a task even in challenging times. Driven by the principle of Stewarding Capital, commitment ensures that your team works towards sustainable growth and efficient use of time and resources. These attributes do not exist in a vacuum—they are a direct reflection of the principles your business stands for. A team characterized by strong character, competence, commitment, and connection is better equipped to implement your business strategy and achieve its goals. Take a moment to assess the strengths and areas for development within your team. How well do they reflect the four people attributes? We're here to help align your team with your core values for greater success. Schedule a consultation with one of our team members today and let's explore the possibilities together. One effective way to see growth personally and professionally is to review and measure yourself like a business. So to do this - steal the same “reporting and review” activities you would do with a business. 1. Set yourself quarterly OKRs >> These can focus on your career growth goals (this might already be done) but also include some of your ones too (ie “I want to invest at least 1 hour of physical activity 6 days per week) 2. Hold your own personal QBR to report back on those OKRs and if you achieved them. >> You might do part of it this with your boss or just with yourself or a family member for personal OKRs 3. Hold twice-yearly financial reviews with your spouse, a financial advisor, or just alone. >> Having a firm handle on your finances and doing a review of where your money is going and how you can improve your spending and investing is so important. Don’t let one person in your relationship do this in a SILO. And also if you are reviewing your own spending habits there are so many cool apps out there to do it. 4. Do regular reviews on metrics that align with the places where you spend the most time. >> In terms of our life, time is our “budget” we are allocated and where we invest our time can speak volumes. Treat this like you would assess channels or tactics. Are you getting the payoff you want from the time you invest? Can there be ways where you can improve it? Does that place you spend time need to be cut or replaced with something else? 5. Lastly, take the time to think big picture and set visionary goals. >> You are the most important product/project you could ever work on and having a vision (even if it changes) on where you want to be in the future can help you create meaningful goals. Do you do any of this already? Would love to hear! #careeradvice #leadership #growthmindset

Adam Grant suggests that Steve Jobs's success stemmed from his ability to shape the world to match his vision. This idea of bending the world to your will is the ultimate goal of design thinking.. and the question How can we...?? It starts with believing you can make it happen. Jobs famously said, "The ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do." This requires an internal locus of control, where you believe you are in charge of your Life/destiny. Where do you see yourself on this spectrum? Identifying areas of strong internal control can guide personal growth, while acknowledging areas of external control can help you focus on empowerment. Embracing an internal locus of control empowers you to shape your reality and achieve your goals. #ShapeYourReality #BelieveAndAchieve #EmpowerYourself #DesignThinking #TravelutionTribe
