Ahead of Davos this week the World Economic Forum Alliance of CEO Climate Leaders including Wipro CEO Thierry Delaporte and 120+ CEOs all focused on scaling ambition on #climateaction have reiterated the need for accelerated action by governments and the private sector. ➡ Governments have a large responsibility to get closer to #netzero emissions while ensuring a #justtransition that can benefit the most vulnerable. They can set bolder and more near-term ambitions. ➡ The private sector has a major responsibility and opportunity to accelerate action – not least to strengthen the #resilience of their businesses and ecosystems.
