After an amazing 13 years journey with #Ferring, the time has come for me to look for new horizons. Over the past 8 years, I had the privilege to lead an exceptional team of c. 380 people covering all #GxP areas and geographies. We never looked for perfection, but #Excellence and #ContinuousImprovement were our ambition from day 1. Together, we transformed the Quality organization, aligned its agenda with the company strategy, strengthened the #QualityManagementSystem, embedded #QualityRiskManagement in the company DNA, and seized every opportunity for #PeopleDevelopment. We also had to manage several critical situations, in the best interest of Ferring and its patients, including one mentioned in Ferring 2022 Annual Report, and to conduct market recalls when deemed necessary. The recent Annual Quality Assurance Meeting in Copenhagen was a unique opportunity to say good bye to my colleagues. I was also humbled to receive a standing ovation. There can be no better recognition. Thank you Tatiana T. for the flawless organization. Let me in return recognize some people for some of their most impactful achievements: #Transparency - The entire Quality organization; Transparency was my #1 commitment towards the EC and the Board from day 1; nothing would have been possible without the team. #Proactivity - #QualityRiskRegister (i) design and implementation (Renen Barzilai) and (ii) use to prepare meaningful quality plans (Christian Huber and Charles Apara) - Moving GCP approach beyond traditional audits (Caroline Sandström) #Alignment - With #FinVector to secure approval of a bladder cancer treatment by #USFDA (Brigitte Duthu) - With Jens Regelin and TechOps to foster collaboration (Christian Huber) - With all commercial areas in the world (Asif Mughal, Kok Phay Ng, Márcia Carla Carvalho) #HighlyEngagedPeople - Amazing work to overcome the 2022 situation (Charles Apara). - The entire Quality organization together with our HR partners (Lucas Schmid , Xavier Castex) for the strong engagement reflected in Gallup surveys, but also visible day in day out. #Simplification -#QMS and #Trackwise Refocus (Renen Barzilai) -Adapt vs Adopt approach for #SAP QM implementation (Marie-Amélie Launay-Dupriez) #Quality vs Compliance - Going beyond Compliance and focus on Process Robustness with Nicolas Esmail and TechOps (Christian Huber) to improve supply. I am confident this high performing team will be able to operate in the new set-up, and to further improve Quality and I wish them continued success. Finally I want to thank Klaus Dugi and Per Falk for their leadership, support and significant contribution to Quality, as well as David Pulman (former President Global Manufacturing and Supply, GSK) who continues to be a daily source of inspiration.
