They leave nothing to chance, from the smallest bandage to the most advanced medical equipment. Have you ever practiced your skills with detrimental criteria in mind? Can I apply a tourniquet in the time it takes someone to bleed out? Can I perform a cricothyrotomy before the they hypoxia damages vital organs? Can I obtain a patient IV in time for the medication to still be effective? Can you breech the door, clear the room, locate the victim, access your gear, and THEN perform that intervention? Now do it well. And you will. Because you practiced your proficiency in each step of the process. You have pushed your critical thinking to make decisions in unpredictable situations. #TacticalMedicine #EmergencyMedicine #FirstResponder #TraumaCare #TMP #SOARescue #YouMorePrepared #TCCC #TECC #TacticalProvider #AreYOUReady

When you suspect an overdose, the situation requires immediate and decisive action. If the person is unresponsive and not breathing, the first step is clear: start CPR. It doesn’t matter what caused the unresponsiveness—whether it’s an overdose or something else—the care remains the same. Naloxone training is becoming increasingly important, and we offer this type of training because it can be life-saving. If naloxone or Narcan is available, it should be administered, but only in conjunction with CPR. It's crucial to understand that CPR always takes priority. Administering naloxone should happen while CPR is ongoing, not before. If an opioid overdose is suspected, getting naloxone on board is vital, but it doesn’t override the need for CPR.

Hello to you all my amazing LinkedIn family "Today, I want to talk about a lifesaving technique that everyone should know: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). I was also opportune to partake in this amazing training exercise and here is what I have to impact greatly to the public. CPR is an emergency procedure that combines chest compressions and rescue breaths to save someone's life when their heart stops beating or is not breathing or when there is no pulse. It's an essential skill that can make all the difference in a medical emergency. Here are some key points to know about CPR: - CPR should only be performed on someone who is unresponsive and not breathing. - Call emergency services or have someone else call while you begin CPR. - Chest compressions should be at least 2 inches deep and at a rate of 100-120 compressions per minute. - Give rescue breaths at a rate of one breath every five seconds. Let's all take the time to learn CPR and be prepared to save a life in an emergency! #CPR #Lifesaving #EmergencyPreparedness #FirstAid"

I was on NTA 2 on Saturday, where i spoke extensively on the importance of life-saving skills with a practical demonstration of CPR. In today's unpredictable world, learning life-saving skills such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is crucial for everyone, whether at home, in religious institutions, or workplaces. These skills can mean the difference between life and death during emergencies. CPR is vital because it helps maintain blood flow to the brain and vital organs when someone's heart stops beating. Immediate CPR can double or even triple a victim's chance of survival. The "Chain of Survival" emphasizes the importance of timely intervention: early recognition of cardiac arrest, immediate CPR, rapid defibrillation, and advanced medical care. Each link in this chain is essential for improving survival rates. By equipping ourselves with these skills, we foster a safer environment in our communities. Whether it's a family member, a congregant, or a colleague, being prepared to act can save lives and create a culture of care and responsibility. #thesafetywise #lifesavingskills #emergencyrepomder #cpr #firstaid

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is not a dangerous action, it will be very dangerous if the people around the patient do not perform this aid. With the importance of CPR, let's equip ourselves with training so that we can help the people around us. #firstaid #safetyfirst #cpr #rjp #k3

The primary goal of Basic Life Support: (BLS) is to maintain the vital functions of the body, particularly the circulation of blood and the delivery of oxygen to vital organs, using CPR until more advanced medical help arrives. #cpr #cprtraining #aed CPR1.com
