Happy Friday! 🎉
We truly have the most fascinating people at LCP Media. One of my favorite things to learn about someone is WHY they do what they do -
Nick's story is nothing short of inspiring. His journey to loving software engineering started as a kid, inspired by his father and grandfather, who had computers in their office. He loved exploring the internet, playing video games, and got interested in learning code. By middle school, he was already building websites!
Nick also speaks multiple languages and started learning Polish during his internship with us. Did you know that about half of LCP Media is in Poland? (I still geek out when I have international calls; I am just a small-town girl from Texas—like, how AWESOME!)
But my FAVORITE part of Nick's story is he chose to come back to us full-time after graduating from the University of Chicago, which goes to show how great our team is at LCP Media. We are lucky to have him! 👏
Reflecting on Nick's journey made me think about my path to LCP Media as the Marketing Director -
As a young girl, I loved making things *look pretty* —if I colored outside the lines in a coloring book, I would literally throw it in the trash! Visually, I’m a bit of a perfectionist. My band-aids had to match my outfits (lol). I loved storytelling and decorating. In middle school, I would spend HOURS redesigning my MySpace profile. I still remember the exact day I got a Facebook account in 9th grade; I loved creating photo albums and sharing my life. I was the girl in my sorority with a GoPro documenting everything! Social media, photography, and videography have ALWAYS been my passions - It's no wonder I do what I do! 🤩
How lucky are we to have the opportunity to do what we love? I challenge you to think about your journey. What were your passions growing up—do they align with what you do now? Share in the comments! ⬇️
Welcome Back, Nick!
We’re thrilled to have Nick Clifford rejoin us as a Full-Stack Software Engineer at LCP Media! From his impactful internship to returning full-time after graduating from the University of Chicago, Nick’s journey is one you don’t want to miss. His early fascination with coding and his adventures around Chicago showcase the passion and expertise he brings to our team!

While serving my content creation clients, and showing up on multiple stages at conferences.
This August will be four years since I heard "you are no longer employed with this company"
Yeap.
Got laid off.
Yes, this setback was EXACTLY what I needed to dig deeper.
I'm so looking forward to this summer.
I'm already busy setting up my summer courses and on boarding my very first intern!
SCALE WITH PRECISION.
It takes time, determination, and the will to NEVER giving up.
Tomorrow is another day.

Meet Anthony, one of Domi's summer interns for Team Marketing!
Here's a little bit about him:
"Greetings, I am Anthony Patterson II, a graduating senior from Jacksonville, FL. I currently attend Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. My hobbies include listening to music, playing video games, going to theme parks, and beaches, playing basketball, and watching TV/movies. I am also interested in walking trail parks as I never experienced walking on a trail until attending Famu. What excites me about the internship is the ability to work on tasks that can improve our skillset to become more knowledgeable about marketing and work with others to develop innovative ideas and use those ideas in reality.
Fun Fact: In fourth grade, I learned how to play the Recorder for my music class once a week as part of a rotating schedule for out-of-class activities."
