The introduction of data lakes in the supply chain and manufacturing sectors has significantly reduced the time required to build organizational data capabilities. Beyond the immediate benefits of enhanced analysis and insights, data lakes will serve as a key catalyst for the expansion of the vertical industrial software market as siloed data has been the major obstacle to the adoption of new software.
