We love this LinkedIn post by Steven Bartlett we do sometimes encourage our clients post project completion, as part of our continous support we recommend as part of their job seeking roadmap to make a 'hitlist' of all the organisations they wish to work for. Check if they are recruiting, if not then send them an intro email proposing a schedule with Human Resources and mention in their intro they would like for their expertise to be considered when an opening comes up. If they manage to get a schedule from Human Resource, after prior research and creating alignment, then propose a role, even if it's a future role. Steve's post is complementary to our recommendations. A good way to expand one's portfolio abroad. Well, stay ready and partner with us for your professional profile upgrade. LETS DO THIS! 💥 I will ALWAYS have a place for someone who is very talented, very hard working, with a very good attitude! So today I'm doing something I've never done before...if you're THAT person, YOU tell me what job you would like in my team. We have more than 100 vacant roles across my very rapidly growing group of companies (Flight Group). I'm a big believer that A-class talent, in the right environment, with the right mission, can add disproportionate value to almost any team! + I know there are people out there that are too talented for the role they're in, they aren't being challenged in the right way and deep down they know they're capable of doing more! ✅ What I do care about: - That you're a nice person. - That you're willing to learn. - That you're hard working. ❌ What I do not care about: - What university qualifications you have. - If you have done the role before. - Age. 📝 If I'm talking to you, this is what I would like you to do: 1) Send me an email to Work@StevenBartlett.com 2) In the subject of the email please write the job title you would like in my business. 3) In the email please tell me exactly what your dream job description would be. 4) Tell me why you're the right person for that role. 5) Please include a link to your Linkedin profile. If you know someone that may be looking for a new job this year, please tag them or send them this post privately! We may both thank you for it later. ❤️ Thank you! (UPDATE: we’ve read through thousands of emails, replies will be sent out starting Monday) (UPDATE: One of my best friends just turned to me and said, "I can't believe you're choosing to go through that inbox on a Sunday". It made me wonder if people believe that I'm the person going through the emails myself. So I want to clarify; I view hiring as my single most important responsibility, I don't think there are many things more important to my company than that. I currently interview every person that joins my team myself and I spend a lot of time going through this inbox looking for great people - 4 hours so far today and I'm not done - It is one of my favourite things to do - many of my current team came from posts like this, the last two directors I hired came from as post like this, so I consider it time well spent.) (UPDATE: We're 20%± of our way through the inboxes, we've sent out 100± emails inviting people for interviews for various roles and asking follow up questions. Not too late to send an application through)

For my network: I share this because I am so curious to find out if it works for both ends but also because this approach is open and equal.

This is a pretty revolutionary way of hiring people. rather than having a job description and person specification, you tell the candidate what they would like to do and what their dream job is. then you figure out if what they bring is something you want and need. Having gone through processes of recruitment and job applications from both ends I can see the benefits of this as sometimes the recruitment process does not necessarily allow the candidates to really showcase their strengths and what they bring to the table.

What a creative twist in this recruitment strategy! Encouraging individuals to craft their own unique job descriptions, for roles that perhaps don't exist yet, but potentially hold significant value - Game Changer!💥 Love the emphasis on prioritising future potential, learning ability, and kindness in this hiring process. Kudos for this fresh perspective 👏 #recruitmentinnovation #jobsearchstrategies #outoftheboxthinking #kindnessmatters #learningculture

People talk a lot on Recruitment strategy, how to create a ‘need’ among candidates to select ur organization to be the most soughted workplace, then there is Steven Bartlett doing it right. Nothing is better than a CEO that is compassionate and understanding, showing true spirit of ‘why’ he wanna recruit you. Going above and beyond the paper qualifications, allowing you to make a good argument for yourself. Which is believe is thousand times if not millions of times ahead of the dead beat ATS tracking CVs. Beings back humanity to recruitment, gives your brand a great reputation as a human centric organization needless to say Great PR!
