Creating a software solutions that can engineer projects and then optimise the design is a fascinating area to study as it can provide large cost savings using the latest technologies. Therefore it was great opportunity over the summer to have one of our interns Varun Vajrapu look at the optimisation solar, wind and battery based on a hypothetical energy demand. If we combine this with our H2Evolution model for green hydrogen production, we will be able to optimise the two modules. Eventually, AI models will be developed to optimise larger engineering problems, such as the development of green ammonia and SAF. Automating the calculations and optimising the whole model based on different constraints will provide rare insights into reducing LCOH or SAF etc. Currently the project revolves around isolated microgrids, with H2 Evolution, but eventually we will be able to develop more complex energy problems, maybe for the next intern team. As you can see from the plot we have a number of problems to solve but you can see the vision #kbrdigitalsolutions #hydrogen #digital #innovation

2024: What happens when you combine a degree in Engineering Physics with an unshakeable passion for renewable energy? Unexpectedly, it turns out, quite a lot. This year wasn't just about collecting job titles—it was about transforming academic knowledge into real-world impact. Graduating from University of Lagos was my starting point, but the real journey began when I started applying my understanding of energy physics to solving tangible challenges. By the end of 2024, I found myself wearing multiple hats: Solar Engineer at TRANSSION HOLDINGS, and Product Management intern at Codetivite. Each role isn't just a job—it's a platform to contribute to our global energy transformation and build technical prowess. Three posts that captured my journey: 1. "Reflections on My Energy Journey" - Exploring how mentorship shapes career direction https://lnkd.in/eqpG5h7U 2. "New Position as Solar Engineer" - Marking my entry into solar engineering https://lnkd.in/e3sfXYGA 3. "Accepted for Product Management Internship" - Expanding my professional toolkit https://lnkd.in/eJ6Y_9bc Looking ahead to 2025, I'm not just aiming to work in renewable energy—I want to help reshape how we think about sustainable solutions. By bridging my technical background with product management insights, I believe we can accelerate the transition to cleaner, more efficient energy systems. #LinkedInRewind #2024Wrapped #RenewableEnergy

🌞 4 Months as a People & Culture Intern at Verdant Solar Sdn Bhd – What a Ride! 🌱 Time flies when you’re juggling HR tasks, learning the ropes, and occasionally questioning if you signed up for an MBA in multitasking. But here I am, almost 4 months in, and it’s been nothing short of insightful (and fun!). 💼✨ As an HR intern, I wore all the hats 👒 – from coordinating meetings 📅, keeping employee records up-to-date 📋, ordering office supplies (yes, including the “expensive stuff” 💸), and ensuring licenses were renewed on time (because governance = important!). One of the highlights of my internship was being part of our Quarterly Alignment Bonding (QAB) sessions. Imagine this: aligning company goals 📈, recognizing top performers 🏆, playing fun team games 🎮, and fostering a sense of togetherness 🤝. It’s like a team retreat, but with strategy and celebration combined. Speaking of culture, Verdant Solar have 7 core values which are everything! It’s inspiring how everyone truly embodies these values in their daily work and interactions. I’ve always felt comfortable reaching out for help, even across departments (thank you, Verdiants!). 🫂 Another exciting chapter was being part of the committee for Verdant Solar’s 3rd Annual Dinner. Planning an event for the entire company? Let’s just say, “small hiccups” were part of the package, but we made it happen! 🎉 I also had the chance to try my hand at recruitment – from screening resumes 📄 to interviewing candidates 🎤. It was a challenge my supervisor set for me, and I actually enjoyed it (who knew?). Plus, I even sharpened my decision-making skills by analyzing costs and options for big purchases – hello, future budgeting pro! 💰 To sum it up, I’ve learned so much, grown a ton, and had a great time with a supportive team who pushed me to aim higher (thank you!). Verdant Solar is full of driven, goal-oriented individuals, and being part of this journey has been a privilege. Lowkey need a friend to vibe and grow with – you in? LET'S TEAM UP 🚀 : https://lnkd.in/gAv5ahck #InternshipJourney #VerdantSolar #PeopleAndCulture #HRLife #GrowthAndLearning
