🎉 An Unforgettable Start to #ANC24! 🎉 Day 1 has set the bar high! We welcomed more than 7.000 people passionate about school nutrition, including a record-breaking 1,400 first-time attendees, each eager to connect, network and dive into our diverse educational sessions. The excitement in the air has been truly contagious!🌟 Our general session was a standout, featuring a captivating talk from our keynote speaker that left everyone inspired. Our keynote speaker delivered a motivational message that resonated deeply with everyone present. "We are all just humans that need to be watered," he reminded us, emphasizing the need for nurturing not only ourselves but the young minds we serve every day. This metaphor beautifully reflects our mission in school nutrition —providing not just health school meals, but also fostering growth and nurturing potential within our schools. USDA’s Cindy Long, Incoming Deputy Under Secretary of Food, Nutrition, and Consumer Services, also shared the general session stage to highlight how USDA is working to support SNA members and strengthen school nutrition programs. It's clear we're all here to make a big impact in school nutrition. Thank you to all our incredible attendees for your enthusiasm and commitment.
