Community Engagement Coordinator at Nine Circles Community Health Centre What did your path look like to your current position? I shifted from Nine Circles to Brandish | A Creative Agency to focus more on public relations and internal communications. My Principles of Public Relations students enjoyed the opportunity to learn about agency, entertainment, music, nonprofit, and sports public relations from some talented Kent State Public Relations graduates. Thank you: Bryan Webb with Apple Music Country; Linden M. with Rec2Connect; Anna Rizk with Allied Global Marketing; Brady Warmbein with Gatesman; and Kristyn Hibbett with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Providing opportunities for students to learn from alumni and other PR professionals makes such a meaningful difference. A few highlights follow. #principlesofPR #publicrelations #prkent "...it was inspiring and eye-opening, getting the opportunity to listen to the career paths and stories of each individual and how their majors here at Kent State brought them to where they are today." "The most interesting thing...is all the different career paths you can have with a PR degree... you can go into entertainment, you can go into music, you can into nonprofit..." "...it's okay for things to take time...we as students have time to figure things out in our future, and it all doesn't have to happen right after graduation." "I also found it useful that they were able to share a mistake that they made in their career because it helped put into perspective that everyone is human and messing up one time isn't going to be the end of your career."
