What is one of the most life-saving health interventions in history? VACCINES! They are one of the most effective and safe public health interventions. The issues are: -most people don't know which disease can be prevented with vaccination or if they are at risk and would benefit from vaccination. -vaccination is not top of mind for healthcare professionals so they do not think of recommending it to their at risk patients. HERE IS A TIP: For all those patients you are recommending dietary modifications and lifestyle changes to improve their disease outcomes (ex: diabetes, hypertension, obesity, etc), they are the same patients that may also benefit from COVID, Flu, Pneumonia vaccination...and more. ADULT VACCINATION NEEDS TO BECOME AN HABIT, just like lifestyle modification recommendations.
