From MDRT to TOT: My Journey Many advisers dream of moving from MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) to COT (Court of the Table) or even TOT (Top of the Table), but the path can seem unclear. For me, it started with a desire to be the best in the industry. I wanted to be well regarded by clients and fellow advisers alike. This drive for excellence motivated me to aim beyond MDRT. I realized growth as an adviser was crucial. I didn't want to stay stagnant. My passion for continuous improvement pushed me forward. To achieve this, I began shifting my priorities. I focused on growth and betterment. I found inspiration in practice management books. These resources showed me how to be more productive and provide even better advice to my clients. A few strategies that helped me on this journey: * Setting specific, achievable goals * Seeking out mentors for guidance * Continuous learning and self-improvement * Regularly reviewing and refining my practice Each step was a learning experience. Small, consistent actions led me from MDRT to COT and beyond. It's about valuing growth and always striving to be better. So, to my fellow advisers aiming high: prioritize growth, learn continuously, and never settle. The path from MDRT to COT is possible, and the journey is worth it.
