The number of organizations with GHG emissions reduction targets has reached new heights, and will only continue to increase, especially with more SMBs signing on to science-based targets as part of supplier engagement programs and other climate initiatives.

Are you curious about how many companies in your country have validated science-based targets, and how many of them have implemented robust, credible actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions? SBTI has developed a target dashboard to shed light on the targets and commitments of all organizations setting science-based targets. In Saudi Arabia (KSA), the latest update from SBTI indicates that there are only two companies have successfully validated their science-based targets. This highlights the need for increased efforts and engagement to encourage more companies in the region to adopt and implement science-based actions for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in order to meet net zero commitment! #Netzero #ESG #climatechange
