Financial pressures on HE means that universities are pruning science subjects because they are expensive. Cardiff announced this week a probable halving of chemistry academics this academic year. What can be done to ensure enough chemistry graduates to meet future demand? .
Can one now do a part time work based honours degree apprenticeship similar to the former GradRIC and later GRSC ?
