Do you have issues when mixing? The ‘Applied Mixing Technology For Process Development: Scaling Down to Scale Up' course will help you solve problems in future and the next course will be held online on 26-29 September. Our course tutor Aaron Sarafinas is a recognized expert in process development and mixing technology in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. He formed Sarafinas Process & Mixing Consulting LLC in June 2018 to help chemists achieve faster process development, scaling, and troubleshooting while leveraging advantaged mixing technology. Aaron will start off the course looking into some essential basics of mixing technology. With those fundamentals, he will then progress through different mixing applications in increasing levels of complexity: single-phase (blending and heat transfer), multiple phase (solid-liquid, immiscible liquid, gas-liquid, and 3-phase), and mixing in competitive rate processes (reactions and crystallizations). Throughout, he will look at scale-up and scale-down by using examples from industrial processes which have a variety of mixing requirements.  A previous course attendee told us ‘The course was really great, the topics talked about were from really basic terms using simple case studies that were really helpful to understand. Also, if we had any questions that were not included in the handbook, Dr Aaron prepared an addendum and gave the answer in the next session, It’s really helpful. Thank You.’ Please click here https://lnkd.in/eXUePsuk for more information and to register. I enjoy the interaction with the course attendees. Their questions reflect practical mixing needs that process developers face in their work. I'm looking forward to leading the course in late September.

Can’t believe after all these years, you are still at it! I always thought a “master mixer” was a bartender. I now am convinced it’s you!
