We are progressing rapidly in Latin America, but we still lack the momentum of associations and specialized groups that generate a high-quality multiplier effect, like the successful European model. Currently, we only have one association in Brazil (partner now of the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), and attempts, such as the Cold Chain Secretariat in Panama, have not yielded the expected results. We need more community involvement to grow in technology, skilled human resources, clear regulations, access to credit, better prices for services and products, and greater government commitment to raise awareness. I hope our region will follow the path of more developed countries step by step!
