Last week SciTec Princeton hosted 17 aspiring scientists and engineers for Take Your Child To Work Day. The kids took part in a variety of lab experiments to learn about what SciTec does, "seeing" things that they can't see, 3D printing demos with take home printed key chains, LEGO building, freezing flowers with liquid nitrogen, and drone flying! Of course the day was rounded off with a pizza party and a visit from the ice cream truck! #defendthefuture

Exciting Project: QUADRUPED BOT! I am thrilled to share an update on our latest project, inspired by the recent trends in quadruped robots. Our journey into the world of robotics and 3D printing has been incredibly rewarding and full of learning experiences. We have successfully designed and tested one leg of our quadruped bot. We collaborated with WEBER additive to showcase the power of robotic 3D printing in conformal builds. Conformal printing is perfect for a multitude of design challenges including repair application through to mind-bending designs on double-curved surfaces. In this example, we produced a lightweight, slim, aerostructure with Weber hardware using Airtech Advanced Materials Group material, all controlled by Ai Build software.
