It's another 'hot' day predicted for NJ, so this newly posted domestic US 483 (dated 12 JUN 2024) in NJ may be symbolically appropriate? Then again, you may draw your own conclusions. In some places only reaching a heat index of 37 deg C [98 deg F] before 11 AM may not be anything of note. (As I heard yesterday, Las Vegas NV was 'significantly hotter at 49 deg C but as they say 'it's a dry heat' ...) To follow the metaphor, it must have been 'hot' at the site, given that the inspection involved 36 person days for the 4 FDA staff members. The image below details the last 2 of the 3 observations. (Some the former FDA readers may think "Three? That's it"? Or not ....) One wonders if the subject product including fentanyl was the driver? Observation 1 was around sterility issues for their injectables. Why not review the whole document? It's a quick read - and not my intended subject for the day, but here you go, Call it a reason to stay in climate-controlled areas rather than go out into the heat, or the rain depending upon where you are.
