SCOPE Safety & Security’s Post

I am excited to present our new Off-duty and Under-uniform apparel line, CODE: 1915. As you may know, front-line security professionals are facing unprecedented risks and threats in their daily activities. Unfortunately, too many have been getting hurt and losing their lives. It's time for us to contribute in some small way to build up a security community. Our goal is to create a sense of unity and connection among front-line security professionals. We want them to feel recognized and appreciated for their important work. By wearing something specific to the community, security personnel can feel a little more connected to something bigger. The security industry is vast, and it's easy for individuals to feel disconnected from their careers and jobs. However, we can change that. Our CODE:1915 is based on the Alphabetical Numbers for S.O. Security Operative. It's a short code that we frequently use to communicate with each other. We want to create a sense of belonging among security professionals by taking it into a community-building moment. We invite security organizations to cross-brand with us to help promote team unity. You can also use our products as giveaways during events and fundraisers. Let CODE:1915 be our call to action to start building a community, inspiring others, and helping us build a strong security community together. The security community can only improve if it has a strong industry culture that starts with the guards. Their professional mindset, attitude, and commitment will only benefit each employer and client. We appreciate each guard's contribution to keeping the community safer in their own way. For that, we say a very big thank you! We also plan to use a percentage of each sale to put towards post-critical event support. In our training at SCOPE, we have always encouraged Security Companies and Security Departments to have a small budget set aside to support their staff during critical events. Our encouragement is what's called "The 3rd Space". All too often, security professionals respond and resolve extremely critical events in either medical or behavioural situations. Yet, at the end of the shift, support stops and Employee Assistance Programs work but too far disconnected. We have encouraged the 3rd space to be a Denny's or something similar where the team can go to decompress after a specifically high-stress shift, and the employer provides the gift card as mental health support to cover the cost of the team's meals. With our CODE: 1915 initiative, we want to build a small pot where security companies and departments can apply for full or partial reimbursement of these gift cards. This way, we all support each other as a community in times of support. #mentalhealthmatters #security #securitycompany #securityguards #securityservices #SafeCanada #securityprofessionals #securitypatrol #propertymanagement #propertymanagement #mobilepatrol
