The stirrups in columns must be distributed along their entire length, including in the areas where beams and columns intersect. ⁉️ Why is this recommendation for columns and not beams? The function of stirrups in beams is analogous to that of uprights in a truss, suspending the load at the top node until it reaches the support via the diagonals. Thus, in the connection region between the beam and column, the stress is transferred by the last diagonal, without the need for additional uprights (stirrups) in this region. In the case of columns, the stirrups have the function of confinement, preventing the compressed longitudinal bars from buckling, which is necessary for the entire length of the span. Floodlight consists of three parts: optical components, mechanical components and electrical components. The main optical components are reflectors and light-shielding grids that limit light. The mechanical components are mainly the shell, the focusing mechanism that fixes and adjusts the position of the light source, the bracket and base that fixes the lamp, and the parts with angle indicators that adjust the projection direction of the light beam. For most closed floodlights, the mechanical components also include protective glass and various sealing rings. Depending on the needs of the use environment, some also have metal grilles. Good-performing floodlights also come with air filters. we are modelling frame structure by connecting adjacent elements with links we are using uncoupled stiffness we are getting very large forces in the links. please suggest me when to coupled and uncoupled stiffness.
