Value based healthcare is finally coming into play. Understanding your options for partners and tools to maximize or create value before or after an acquisition or investment is critical to long term success.

What is the connection between #p4ecosystems and ecosystems around integrated care organizations? By connecting across many silos in healthcare, integrated care organizations aim to increase collaboration and coordination beyond the levels we usually get in real-life patient journeys. Often, they invest more into the earlier identification of health problems, more comprehensive health checks and the identification of high-risk populations (fast progression to bad outcomes) earlier in the patient journey, right? In terms of economics, do they only focus on investments in that are likely to pay off within 1-2 years, or can they think and act more long-term? What about the reality of value-based care, in this context? As they build their ecosystem of partners, how do the right partnerships help to stabilize and up-smarten the whole ecosystem?
