I decided (and made a very tough decision) to miss this year's RLC for the first time in 15 years or so. Timing is everything and amazing things happen irrelevant of the calendar. The conference, as expected, was, of course, the best yet (as it always seems to outdo itself). Congrats Sam Oches #Team Restaurant Leadership Conference and all of the amazing people that produce this event. I've enjoyed listening to the insights and shared experiences of so many friends who were in Phoenix this week #ALittleFOMO and was once again inspired, from a distance, by the amazing leaders and participants in this amazing industry. Key takeaways: Play Offense, Not Defense! Stop saying PIVOT, focus on continuous innovation and improvement. The industry is as strong as ever - but it's also starting to shake out duplicity. Differentiate and create value - VALUE is more than price, portions, and product - it always includes experience!! (Product + Price (divided by) Experience = VALUE Excited to get back to working with some awesome brands, doing amazing things, and playing OFFENSE for the WIN! Let's Geaux!
I was hoping to see you there too!
Missed you Scott! How dare you take away one of the only few times I see you each year! I know great things are coming. RFDC next?
