One valuable lesson I learned early on was to keep your eyes and ears open and your mouth shut. Listening to experienced officials and making quick adjustments can make all the difference in your officiating journey. This approach helped me thrive in challenging environments like the Big East. Throughout my career, I’ve had opportunities beyond my wildest dreams and met incredible people from all walks of life. I believe that treating everyone with kindness and respect is essential. Nicely said Ange. Love this perspective he’s shared. It’s so important not to judge a person in front of you based on their title or salary. You never know their full story. 🤔 Treat everyone you see today as a human being who’s trying to navigate a path through this world. You never know what they’re struggling with behind the scenes. 🤝 This includes high earning high performers. 💰🏆 I learnt in my health coaching training that every single behaviour we do, “good” or “bad”, is trying to solve a problem.👨🔧 It’s so important to create safe spaces for people to feel listened to and understood.
