Wimbeldon, Tour de France and the Paris Olympics almost makes you forget about Euro 2024. A few things to remember... ➡ EURO 2024 will create a projected €935 million for the HatTrick programme over the next four years. ➡ This will be reinvested into the 55 national associations. that form part of the European federation ➡ The maximum amount of money a team could win is $30.43 million, according to UEFA, which occurs if a team wins all seven of its matches, which Spain did in 2024. ➡ With such a young squad, we look forward with anticipation to what Spain could achieve at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. ➡ Will Spain repeat their 2010 heroics, by winning the World Cup after their 2008 EURO 2008 success? ➡ Real Madrid C.F. have won the Champions league as well. Are we in a Spanish cycling era of domination that we saw between 2008 and 2012? Spain will be one of three countries hosting the 2030 FIFA World Cup, with the Bernabéu announced as the stadium that will host the final. Spanish travelling groups will be all over the football world, as their team's dominance is sure to be felt over the coming years. I may not be a "sports fan" but I'm a #Rassie fan. He is the epitome of #AuthenticLeadership and here's why: 1. He leads with #Empathy and has been able to squash the talking points of "quota hires" in rugby. How? He sees the person, the #talent and does unto others as he would like done unto him. 2. Emotional Intelligence is made up of: #SelfAwareness, #SelfManagement, #SocialAwareness, and #RelationshipManagement. We are all a work in progress... However, having a leader who embodies this allows a team to be Receptive To Feedback, find Inspiration from others versus seeing them as a threat, Embrace Challenges and #FailForwardFast 🌻 3. I will venture as far as to say, he understands the splitting of energies between the Journey and the Destination. In this case, pitstop. So often we get frustrated focusing on Why Things Didn't Work Out and miss the learnings (I call them muscle builders) embedded in the journey. Hence some of us only enjoy the glory of living for a split second after an achievement and move on to the next thinking "tjoo I'm glad that's over" Never reflecting, Never drawing insights, and Never giving ourselves a High5! Our final destination on earth is to give back what the land has afforded us i.e the physical body. This is not a negative or morbid realization - It Just Is .... Because the purpose of Life is to Live 🌻 Live it. Live it to the fullest - if fear or doubt stands in your way - reflect and ask yourself Why. May Q4 2024 awaken your spirit, draw you from the darkness and bring you into harmony with the Creator. #YouAreEnough

Sometimes you have to let someone else’s dream die for yours to live… In 2014, Germany beat Brazil 7-1 in the World Cup semi-finals. Brazil was predicted to win the championship. Due to have strong their team was. For many compounding reasons, Germany pulled off the win against the favored team. Brazil’s dream died so that Germany’s could live. This doesn’t mean that Brazil never won again, but this does mean that sometimes you have to have a break down to have a break through. If you find yourself where Brazil has been the last few years, keep pushing! Your wins will come! If you find yourself where Germany was, celebrate, but also keep pushing! Croke park v Lansdowne road…? Like Irish unity there’s a thought you’d think might never happen. However, money always talks. It could solve a lot of problems- 1. Athmosphere “Compared with the regular Six Nations crowd, the World Cup attendees were younger and more boisterous, drawn from across the spectrum of sports. When it comes to spring, many of those supporters find themselves locked out by the model that sees the union distribute their tickets through the clubs, who often bundle at least some of them and sell them to corporate entities and travel companies. The income they generate funds the sport at a local level, but an additional capacity would allow the union to investigate ways to tap into the latent interest from the World Cup” Enjoyment- It will stop the boozers in the stands destroying the enjoyment of the others. Far more can attend. Money- It would generate a lot more, and perish the thought, the IRFU might even reduce prices to encourage real fans. So how about leaving the RDS and Lansdowne road? Allow Leinster use it. The GAA use it. More Concerts. As the IRFU don’t really care about their Patrons once they get their money that won’t be an issue. They side step a changing culture towards boozing.
