Grading and how it works, Ever heard of somebody referring to an old building being a “Grade-A building”? Here’s a simplified rundown of what it all means, 🔸 Grade A -Buildings of special architectural or historic interest which are outstanding examples of a particular period, style or building type. 🔸 Grade B - Buildings of special architectural or historic interest which are major examples of a particular period, style or building type. 🔸Grade C - Buildings of local importance, lesser examples of any period, style, or building type, as originally constructed or altered. The project's scope includes removing “green” exterior panels and the masonry behind them to create a sleek facade. A new steel structure will also create openings filled with new brick, painted Hardie panels, storefront glass, and operable glass doors.
