Day 5: Celebrating Project Milestones & Achievements. As much as we need to take accountability for when things go wrong, we should also celebrate when things go right. Milestones are there for us to reflect upon, and they present a great opportunity for management to recognise their teams and their contributions. You will be surprised how far saying 'good job' can go. Learn what motivates your team and celebrate in ways that enhance them.

We just completed our third "Essential Skills for Project Professionals" workshop and have now graduated 70 professionals in less than a year! Our experiential approach to training is working well - we provide a sample project and describe scenarios where the students are challenged to figure out how to best address the issues presented. Students watch short videos ahead of the workshop on each topic, and then come to our virtual workshop to work with 3 peers on solving problems in breakout groups. When the breakouts are complete, we have a discussion and listen to our experienced facilitators talk about their practical experience and sage advice. What about your firm?
