It's #ThrowbackThursday and we're going way back to the days of disco, roller rinks, drive-in theaters, bellbottom jeans, leisure suits, Good Times, and The Jeffersons! This photo (taken circa 1979-80), shows the Powers & Sons Construction team hard at work spreading concrete for a new tank ring foundation at the Amoco (now BP) refinery in Whiting, Indiana. The effort was part of an upgrade to what was then a new refining process called isomerization, which improved gasoline performance. #generalcontracting
