The Key of the success of the Broiler management (digestive system) Any management of broiler chickens has inputs and outputs Your feed is one of your inputs. You know that nutrition can represent 70% of the capital. This was not higher Also, the stock exchange price can betray me So what is the solution? The solution is that I try to reduce the amount of food that makes the feed turn into meat (FCR). How do I do this? In addition to all the care factors that I talked about in previous articles Which is the digestive system So what's wrong with it? You know that there are sources that said that it is not useful to use a lighting system system until the chick reaches 4.5 of its size or that you find that most of them are applied at the age of 7 days Because this is the size or age at which the intestinal system is fully completed Well, did you notice that most of the research uses the additives that they put in the feed from the grower feed, not the beginner Because this is the device that absorbs food and converts it into nutrients used in the body to complete its life and also helps in production and the secret in the part is that it helps increase the number of villi and the length of the intestines which in turn helps in the end in converting food into the meat that you take and sell. So what should I do? You will find research done on natural grains Such as black seed / turmeric and others And you will find people using liquid feed and this is what some people tried and it brought them results in reducing the percentage of sardines and people tried something else and it did not bring results The poultry industry Has one slogan (You are doing an experiment and looking at its results) #AF_HUB #Animal_Farming_Hub

Undergraduate Veterinarian | Aspirant MS Candidate | Research Enthusiasts | Exploring Research Opportunities in Veterinary Microbiology and Immunology
𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐠𝐠 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐫𝐲 Both the quality and quantity of eggs are more and less depend on feed. • Egg size: Feeding higher level of protein at the onset of production may help to increase egg size more rapidly. Smaller size eggs during the summer month are commonly the result of lower energy intake for high ambient temperature. Fat that is linoleic acid also effects on egg size. In case of energy it can observe that large eggs contain more calories of energy than small eggs. A hen needs 1.2% more feeds as egg size increase one ounce per dozen where 1 ounce= 28.35 gm. • Yolk colour: Xanthophylls (yellow pigment) in the feed are the main contributors to the yolk. They are observed from feed through intestinal tract of the chicken and deposited in the egg yolk and fatty tissue in the same from as consume. Not only the xanthophylls cause yellow color to egg yolk but they affect the color of the skin of yellow skin chicken. However this pigment is not deposited in the white skin chicken. • Egg shell structure: During the later stage of growing period, the diet should contain approximately 0.6% calcium and 0.3% phosphorus. The recommended procedure is to feed a pre-lay diet with 2% Ca for two weeks. Laying hens need for phosphorus is low mainly because there is little phosphorus in the egg shell.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BROILER AND LAYER CHICKENS: The primary difference between broiler and layer chickens lies in their purpose and physical traits, as they are bred for different types of production in the poultry industry: 1. Purpose: Broilers: These chickens are bred and raised primarily for meat production. They grow quickly and reach market weight in 5 to 7 weeks. Layers: These chickens are bred specifically for egg production. They are kept for extended periods to produce large quantities of eggs. 2. Physical Characteristics: Broilers: Broilers have broad, muscular bodies with a high feed conversion rate. They have larger breasts and more body mass, which makes them ideal for meat production. Layers: Layers are leaner and lighter with smaller bodies, as they don’t need to carry a lot of muscle. Their energy is focused on egg production rather than body growth. 3. Growth Rate: Broilers: Grow very fast, often reaching 2-3 kg (4-7 lbs) within six to seven weeks. Layers: Have a slower growth rate since they are bred for long-term egg production rather than rapid weight gain. 4. Diet: Broilers: Fed a high-protein diet to promote rapid growth and muscle development. Layers: Fed a diet rich in calcium and vitamins to support egg production and shell formation. 5. Lifespan: Broilers: Typically raised for a short period (about 6-8 weeks) before being slaughtered for meat. Layers: Kept for 18-24 months, the period during which they are most productive in laying eggs. 6. Egg Production: Broilers: Rarely lay eggs as their life cycle is focused on meat production. Layers: Begin laying eggs at about 18-22 weeks of age, producing 250-300 eggs per year. These distinctions make broilers optimal for meat production, while layers excel in producing eggs only.

Cellulase is an enzyme that breaks down cellulose, a complex carbohydrate found in plant cell walls, into simpler sugars such as glucose. While cellulose is not a significant component of poultry diets, other non-starch polysaccharides (NSPs) are present in feed ingredients such as grains, soybean meal, and other plant-based materials. These NSPs can reduce the digestibility of nutrients and may cause digestive problems in poultry. Here's the role of cellulase in poultry nutrition: #paulvet #paulvethealthcarepvtltd #veterinarycare #veterinarysurgeons #veterinaryclinic #poultryfeed #poultryproduction #poultryhealth #poultrydiseases #poultrynutrition #veterinarydoctor #poultryscience #feedadditives #cellulase
