Celebrating Lunar New Year at Opie Manufacturing Group: The Year of the Snake. We do try to keep the live ones away from the factory here in Emu Plains in Australia. While the snake’s traits of strategy and precision guide our work, you might also spot a few dragons around our facilities. Why dragons? They symbolise boldness, courage, and creativity— qualities that our engineers bring to life in every project we deliver. Together, the snake and dragon represent the balance between thoughtful planning and innovative execution, a combination that drives the future of manufacturing. As we welcome this Lunar New Year, we’re reflecting on the importance of transformation, not only in our processes and technology but also in the way we innovate solutions for our customers. From all of us at Opie Manufacturing Group, we wish you a Happy Lunar New Year! May the Year of the Snake bring prosperity, growth, and groundbreaking ideas. Let us know how you’re starting this year— whether you’re inspired by the wisdom of the snake or the ambition of the dragon, we’re excited to see what we can create together in 2025! #chinesenewyear #lunarnewyear #manufacturing #opiemanufacturing #precisionengineering

🎊 Celebrating Our First Lunar New Year The Year of the Snake 2025 marks a special milestone - our first Lunar New Year at Papers & Pens. In this auspicious moment, we've chosen the Snake within the Endless Knot as our New Year's gift and a symbol for the journey ahead. In Eastern philosophy, the Snake represents tranquility and grace. Like the Snake's adaptability across any obstacles, we've learned to navigate and progress with calm and resilience. At PNP, we find even deeper meaning in the Endless Knot, an auspicious symbol representing the harmonious connection between wisdom and deep empathy, flowing continuously without interruption. This combination is our gift and New Year's greeting to all of us. For 2025, we hope to create more: ✨ Inspiring brand stories ✨ Lasting collaborative partnerships ✨ Continuously breakthrough creative ideas Like the interweaving patterns of the Endless Knot, may our journey continue to weave new meanings and lasting values together. Happy Year of the Snake 🐍 to all those celebrating today! As a British Born Chinese who understands Cantonese, wishing you Gung Hei Fat Choi (Happy New Year) and since we're on LinkedIn 生意興隆 Saang Yi Hing Lung (May your business flourish). For anybody who wishes to join in the well wishes - hope this helps :) Chinese New Year is generally celebrated by the Chinese and Lunar New Year is the more inclusive phrase for those in other countries who also celebrate this time of year. There's two common Chinese languages - Cantonese and Mandarin. Mandarin is used mainly in China and Cantonese mostly in HK/USA/UK. From a personal experience, I can't read or write Chinese but understand some basic spoken Cantonese (wording at the top) but if you're not using English in your comms, make sure you pick the language that you want to use for your audience.
Happy Lunar New Year to all those celebrating in our community! #WeAreNCL #LunarNewYear #YearOfTheSnake
