Today, we share the news that after almost 17 years, Trip Adler has made the decision to step down as CEO. Trip will continue to serve as a Scribd Board member. Under Trip’s leadership, what started as a publishing platform for documents has grown to be one of the world’s largest digital libraries with over 200 million pieces of content across every subject, interest, genre, and niche and one of the world's most visited sites. Starting today, Tony Grimminck will step in as interim CEO. Since joining Scribd as CFO four years ago, Tony has been deeply involved in shaping the strategic and financial direction of the company.
