From schooldays, learning has been focused on "what to think", not about "how to think". Learning becomes tiring, and teaching becomes a burden to students' brains. Even today, trainers in the market who have earned a certificate in Agile frameworks assume themselves to be eligible to teach others without understanding the fundamentals of brain science behind learning! Teaching is a huge responsibility, involving serving others with knowledge. I am grateful for the opportunity to attend "Training from the Back of the Room" in-person class led by one of the best teachers, Nagesh Sharma, who lives the true purpose of teaching and genuinely serves others. Before this TBR class, I took trainings but realized I could have been done in a better way if I had attended the TBR classes earlier. While earning certification after this two-day session won't make me a better teacher overnight, my knowledge about the principles of TBR will help me design better training and deliver value to the learners. The success of any training depends not only on the trainer but also on the engaging participation of fellow learners!
