Our latest cladding project in partnership with Alucraft Ltd demonstrates the application of MMC and offsite principles to façade design and construction really well. A bespoke rainscreen façade for Fifteen George’s Quay in Dublin has enhanced the aesthetic appeal of this landmark commercial building. The metal rainscreen has provided a robust, low-maintenance façade solution that meets the stringent performance requirements for a waterside location.   The redevelopment of this prime commercial building included the addition of two new upper floors and the entire façade was replaced with a new envelope that successfully blends stone, metalwork and floor-to-ceiling glazing with panoramic views.   Our aluminium cladding was finished in two shades of bronze and used to striking effect in vertical and horizontal rectilinear configurations which complement the stonework.   Our advanced digital design and smart manufacturing processes combined with the high level of pre-assembly ensured a level of quality control and precision that would have been difficult to achieve on site. Unveiling M1 Bank’s National Headquarters: A Luminous Jewel in an Urban Plaza The design concept presents the building as a crystalline jewel set within a garden. Most striking are the building’s corners, where seamless glass meets without mullions, dissolving the boundary between interior and exterior. This sophisticated detail responds to the building’s prominent location, offering unobstructed views and architectural drama from every approach. Beneath the visible lies a reordering of functions – the expansion of parking infrastructure below grade to reclaim valuable urban space. This complex task enabled the creation of an expansive plaza, unified through brick pavers that physically and visually connect the headquarters to M1’s campus, including both the original building and future northern expansion. Engineering excellence meets architectural ambition in Tel Aviv. 🏙️✨ Landmark Tel Aviv, designed by Yashar Architects, is an iconic addition to the city’s skyline, with its two 45-floor towers and 60-meter glazed atrium. As one of Israel’s first LEED Platinum-certified buildings, it integrates sustainability with stunning design. We contributed a bespoke shading solution for the atrium, overcoming challenges like glare control, heat reduction, and a dynamic cable wall façade. Our team at Guthrie Douglas Group Limited, designed and installed over 350 custom roller blinds, each up to 20 meters tall, seamlessly blending function with the building’s striking aesthetic. We provided SubFloor raised steel flooring to renovate, raise and level a listed museum floor into a modern meeting space in Liverpool! ⭐️ Due to the building being listed, non-destructive assembly methods were required, but as SubFloor could simply be glued onto the base, this wasn't an issue. Byram Construction installed the raised flooring which allowed for easy air flow ventilation, as well as access to any underfloor services, making maintenance in the long term much easier. Our fibre-reinforced screws and steel joists allowed the system to meet all of the load requirements, and with the ease of setting up the flooring to the shape and height of the rooms, this greatly increased the speed of the assembly and project.
