𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦: - Produce modern videos using animation, video footage, and audio - Create detailed video plans and storyboards for stakeholders to review - Assist in maintaining and updating a video library used for various marketing functions - Standardize branding across all assets and scale for different white labeled experiences - Create short animations and videos for social media - Work cross-functionally with teams to gather app flows, scripts, creative assets, compositions, voiceovers, footage, etc. - Work closely with the Design team to produce engaging, on-brand content - Work closely with the Product and UI team to produce product tutorials and tours - Apply subtitles in various languages to aid in localization efforts - Contribute ideas and strategies for engaging video content 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗦 & 𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦: - 5+ years of experience working on an in-house marketing or digital team producing video content - Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, with a heavy focus on Premiere, After Effects, and Illustrator - Experience with collaboration tools: Figma, Frame.io - Experience with video hosting platforms: Wistia, YouTube, Vimeo 𝗔𝗗𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗦: - Experience with task management tools like Jira - Experience with sourcing voiceovers and/or creating AI voiceovers - Thorough and detail-oriented - Good organizational, communication, and time management skills 𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 - Good command of the English Language is required - Working hours are from 9:00am-5:00pm PT - A portfolio or samples of relevant work 𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 Islamabad (On-site) 𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗙𝗧 Night #payactiv #sdsit #payactivjobs #job #work #jobs #jobsearch #career #hiring #recruitment #employment #jobseekers #recruiting #working #careers #nowhiring #resume #follow #jobvacancy

Companies want someone who can: - Master all social media platforms (like a magician!) - Be a Facebook Ads wizard (with a magic wand!) - Community Manager available around the clock 24/7 (because one bad comment could tarnish their reputation!) - Design graphics (like a pro artist!) - Edit videos (like a Bollywood director!) - Create compelling content and strategies - Cast SEO spells - Copywriting skills (like a persuasion master!) - Technical Content Writer - YouTube Expert - Work weekends (because social media never sleeps, right?) - And more! 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 "𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞" 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐊𝐑 𝟑𝟓,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡? I recently applied for a Social Media Manager role at a company. They shortlisted my CV which clearly mentioned my experience, they expected me to handle a wide range of tasks, including managing social media platforms, creating content, running ad campaigns, and more. They also wanted me to be available 24/7 to respond to comments and messages. I was surprised when they offered me a 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗞𝗥 𝟮𝟱,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵. When I asked if this was realistic, they said they were looking for freshers. But didn't they see my experience on my CV? This experience made me think about the expectations we have from Social Media Managers. We need to recognize that this is a specialized job that requires expertise and dedication. It's not fair to expect someone to be available 24/7 or handle a huge workload for a low salary. Let's value our professionals and rethink our expectations. Share your thoughts!
