It perfectly sums up the opportunity organisations have right now to harness the voices of everyone in their workforce to propel their business forward. It’s about tapping into the day-to-day lived experiences of your people and using those insights to make better-informed decisions for both your employees and your bottom line. Strategic Workforce Planning. Most businesses have mastered short-term workforce planning over the next 6-12 months, but few planned further ahead. "I think we are about to go through one of the largest workforce transitions this generation is probably ever going to see" I have to agree with Ben Rutter, the advancements in AI and Technology are transforming the workforce and businesses need to get ahead of the game to survive. Our latest #Houseofvisionaries event was the perfect opportunity to discuss this topic with leaders across TA, HR, and People functions.
House of Visionaries: We're back in action and already planning our next event for January 2025! Ben Rutter & our UK chapter held one of their recent micro events at the iconic BBC London HQ, digging into the tough-to-crack topic of Strategic Workforce Planning fit for the future. Catching up over the past 2 weeks post-event with our US residents, sounds like the same session's a top contender on this side of the pond, too (with some thought provoking challenges prompted by Nathan Lavoie, I predict, on the way we SHOULD be approaching future-proof org planning?) So much more on the horizon for this HoV community - we're just getting started 💥
