SEA Consulting’s Post

It was a privilege to carry out the EPC Review with David Clews on this 160,000 sq.ft property for Oakland International Limited. Well done on the hard work Ross Elphick! Now with more green clauses being added to leases, the EPC review helped show the tenant they should not take the EPC rating at face value. #EPCReview #Dilapidation #BuildingServices #EPC #MEP #MEPDesign #Lease #CommercialProperty #PropertyManagement

Delighted to have advised Oakland International Ltd on their acquisition of 161,578 sq.ft. at Konect 62, Knottingley A great journey for this growing specialist in multi temp food logistics An outstanding example of re-purposing a former colliery site to the latest requirements in logistics. Completed in March 2024 the fact the building had 1Mva of power already available was a major attraction along with the ability to provide an extended solar array with a resulting c.600kva of renewable energy. Great effort and outstanding support throughout by David Nutthall at Cole Waterhouse, Tom Asher at Savills , Rachael Allen at Hill Dickinson , to get this acquisition completed in 2 months. Huge thanks to Jeremy Hoare and Shaun Foley and many more at Oakland who now start a major fitting project for Autumn 2024

It was a tight timeframe but we managed to get it done in time. There were some interesting things found when doing the EPC review on the property.
