Diving into an essential discussion on female leadership and diversity. While female leaders champion diversity and inclusion, the numbers in top leadership roles remain relatively small, yet we can see this changing. As we navigate towards a diverse future, the question becomes: How can we ensure more women take the wheel in leadership positions? Here is what Jessica Coleman from Sweaty Betty had to say. Let's create a more inclusive tomorrow. #women #retail #womenofretail #womeninretail #leadership #femaleleaders #female #futureoftretail #community #diversity #inclusivity #inclusion #LeadershipDiversity #FutureLeaders #InclusionOfWomen #FeminineForce #EqualityInLeadership #ChampioningChange #WomenInPower #EmpowerWomenLeaders

Throughout history, women have been underrepresented in leadership positions, creating an imbalance of power and a lack of diversity in decision-making. Increasing the representation of women in leadership roles is crucial to creating a more diverse and inclusive society. To achieve this, it is essential to create more opportunities and support systems that enable and encourage women to take up leadership roles and make their voices heard. By doing so, we can create a more equitable and just world that benefits everyone. #womenleaders #womenleadership #leadership

Gearing up for an inspiring event this week, where the women in our organisation will come together to share their experiences and encourage another. We're indeed very grateful for our women in leadership roles who will headline the event, sharing their remarkable leadership journeys. During our annual Women’s History Month celebration, we delved into the topic of female leadership in the restaurant industry. It was a thought-provoking session that underscored the invaluable contributions of women in leadership and the continued importance of championing gender diversity and empowerment in the workplace. Our facilitator, Kristin Garling, MBA, led an engaging and insightful discussion with our esteemed panelists and presenter: Amanda Chen, Stacey C., Tarena Chatman, and Tira Harrell. The overarching theme echoed by all our leaders was the importance of grit, determination, and a willingness to embrace new opportunities to achieve career success. They discussed women in leadership positions, highlighted the benefits of having women in leadership roles, and showcased industry trailblazers, including our very own co-CEO and co-founder, Peggy Cherng. Our guest speaker, Tarji Carter, CFE, the CEO and founder of The Franchise Player, shared with us the top three important things that help female leaders succeed. 1. Don't be afraid to use your voice and ask questions when in doubt. 2. Take up space in every room you are in. Don't shrink yourself or dim your light. 3. Believe in yourself. Nobody else will believe in you if you don't believe in yourself. #WomensHistoryMonth #WomensHERstory #HERstory #DEI #WomenLeaders
