🦁 Stability Over Chaos: President Ranil's Legacy 🦁 President Ranil Wickremesinghe came to power during a time of pressing issues, such as shortages of fuel, gas, and electricity. With the majority rallying behind the call for change, he brought the country back to normalcy, steering us away from chaos. Now, do we really want to risk another change, inviting a mob of chaos-makers from the past? The so-called "Wiruwa" brought us stability; do we want to gamble with a "Maruwa" that caused chaos during 88/89? I trust that once President Ranil takes over, he will not only address human concerns but also make a change for our animal friends. After all, humans come first, but animals deserve our care too. Ranil should remain president, lest we risk falling back into chaos. As for the state of facilities like the one in Colombo, it's disheartening to see animals living in such conditions. We must move beyond our old ways and strive for a better life for these creatures. All it takes is a conscious leader who will make the right decisions to bring about change.
Can you believe this facility exists in Colombo, with animals living like this? Attempts to get things changed and the place closed of course met with resistance in the past, but we must go beyond our old ways and evolve to a better way of life for these animals and also those who ignorantly visit to continue the existence of this place.
