Endurance Adventure. *** Governing our country should be an endurance adventure, not a culture war. When we take on challenges because they are hard, push through resistance when everything goes to @#$!, and regroup for rest, we build endurance. The Liberatus creative cycle, connecting policy debates to everyday conversations with renewed values, is built to be an endurance adventure, so you and many Americans can participate to make our country more just and free. To create Volume Two, leader training, and community connections, we’ve set a goal of raising $2,000 in monthly donations. That’s part of the bigger goal of raising $1m over five years to become a biannual publication and national grassroots organization. Here’s the direct link to set up your plan: https://lnkd.in/e5MeMxMw Build endurance.

Finance executive for Startup/SaaS company. Deep level of experience and skills in For-profit and Non-Profit finance, strategic planning and operations.
I believe most people aspire to make a difference through service, whether it's through #volunteering, charity, or #mentorship. Sometimes, we may feel we lack the time or have a limited view of who needs help. In these challenging times with many facing unemployment or entrepreneurs striving to grow their businesses, a simple yet impactful way to help is by making a connection 🤝 ➡️ make that call, send an email/text (and respond if you’re the recipient). Let's make a difference together by starting with a small act of kindness. #MakeADifference #Service #Kindness

Crowdfunding Expert | Helping executive directors and heads of Schools/ raise more money through strategic peer-to-peer crowdfunding campaigns.
You know, there's something special about the shuls in my neighborhood. We've got quite a few of them, each with its own vibe and flavor. It's like a mosaic of traditions and personalities, and I love it. But let's be real—finding your spiritual home isn't always a smooth journey. It starts with one shul, right? A small group of folks gathering in someone's living room, creating that warm, intimate atmosphere that draws people in. It's like a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. But then comes the inevitable question: Where are we headed? And that's when things get... complicated. Politics, meetings, visions—suddenly, it's a whirlwind of opinions and logistics. But here's the thing: Every shul has its turning point. And for many, it's that first peer-to-peer campaign. You can feel it in the air—the excitement, the camaraderie, the shared sense of purpose. It's not just about raising funds; it's about building a real community. I've seen it happen time and time again. Every shul in our neighborhood has run a CauseMatch campaign, and every time, it's been transformative. So, if your shul is at that crossroads, consider this: Give CauseMatch a shot. Sure, you'll raise money, but more importantly, you'll strengthen your bonds and build something truly special together. Trust me, it's worth it. #jewish #shul #community #fundraising #nonprofit

Director at Drawing Board Productions CIC. Co-Founder & Editor of Post hyperlocal community newspapers, supporting the communication and engagement of organisations with local communities.
The past few years have been tough for small, independent businesses, Community Interest Companies (like us!), and charities, but this past year has been the hardest yet to keep things going. We have made many changes over the past 6 months with Post Community Newspapers just to try to cut costs as much as possible and to survive. Following a team meeting yesterday to assess where things are at, we have decided to make what we hope will be one final change which will be put into place from our 2024 issues. Full details will be announced in our January issues, but I can say it involves getting all our Post areas covered in print and online, and further helping to connect and bring together neighbouring communities across the whole of Stockport and Manchester South. https://lnkd.in/eK2DbnbZ #CommunityNewspaper #Print #Online #Connecting #Informing #Promoting #Supporting

I help SME's achieve financial growth and stability | Virtual CFO | Need CFO expertise without hiring a full-time CFO? Let's connect! 💬👇
When I was 9, I founded an organisation. (I made it without fancy resources or a pro team) I built it with 1 vision, of giving back to the community. That year, I: → Recruited 22 children as members → Set up our club’s office in my parents' garage With limited resources, we: → Secured funding from Auckland Council → Raised money (bake sales & face-painting) → Donated 100% of our earnings to the SPCA → Built a community of parents and supporters I didn’t wait for the perfect conditions to start. I worked with what was available: a garage and recycled paper from my dad’s office. You shouldn't wait for everything to be perfect either. You don’t need expensive tools or the 'right' circumstances to build a business. → First start, later improve. 1. Have a clear vision 2. Use what’s around you 3. Finally: make that first step Give yourself a chance to create a business. Between us, you'll be absolutely amazed. Trust me, the journey is worth it. P.S. What was your hobby when you were 9? Let's talk.
