Feeling Stuck After Graduation? Let's Talk 😀 Anyone else out there feeling discouraged in the job search❓ I poured 4 years and significant resources into my degree, and since graduation, it's been interview after interview with radio silence on the other end. My internship at Shan Foods seems more like a conversation starter than anything – everyone loves to hear about it, but it hasn't translated into job offers. Most of the recruiters are interested in how I landed the role but .... silence‼️ Here's the thing: I know I have the skills and drive to succeed. "But something's missing in how I'm connecting with the recruiters." Anyone with experience navigating this post-grad maze? I'm open to advice, connections, or just sharing commiserations. #JobSearchStruggles #OpenToWork #Foodtechnologist #Qualityoperations #FMCG P.S. A Quick Reminder: In today's competitive job market, employers often prioritize years of experience over individual abilities, fresh perspectives, and growth potential. To recent graduates, particularly: the job market will sometimes cause you to doubt your potential and question your achievements. But don't give up. Remember, you're not alone. Believe in your abilities and what you can achieve when given the opportunity. Keep learning and celebrating small wins! The right opportunity will come your way. Don’t limit yourself to what you studied in university — explore new knowledge and practical skills in other fields. Some land a permanent job right after graduation, while others sometimes wait months or even years. The key here is to never stop learning new things and always celebrate your progress! #QuickReminder

The first thing we did when we got job offers was blow all the money on a big trip. Totally worth it. And to be honest, just out of university, we didn't have much money anyway. We backpacked for 7 weeks through Sri Lanka and bonded as a fresh couple. 🧐 I often get asked by successful candidates how they should prepare for upcoming jobs. There's lots that you can do. I even work with many of them to ensure they become top performers within their cohort in the first year. But you don't have to. That's my point. You can also take a break. There are few moments in life when you are certain that something amazing is waiting for you—think of when you knew you got accepted to university. You can use that time to grow your skills. But you can also use it to grow as a person, to gain perspective, to discover. Nothing wrong with that. Here we are at Adam's Peak, after a night trail that took 3 times as long as expected. Obviously, we had done no research.
