TO PHASE OR NOT TO Phase Shifted Full Bridge A phase-shifted full bridge (PSFB) is a type of DC-DC converter widely used in power electronics for applications requiring efficient power conversion with high power output, such as in server power supplies, telecommunications equipment, and renewable energy systems. The phase shifting reduces switching losses by enabling zero-voltage switching (ZVS), where the switches turn on and off at zero voltage, minimizing heat generation and improving efficiency. Here is an example with SiMAY. The C code SiMAY outputs can be used directly for any microcontroller with Floating Point Unit (FPU).
