NPI Project Manager | Engine Systems

A truly transformative week of deep connections with my cohort both personally and professionally. As we wrapped up the last development week of the Global Graduate Program, the focus was intensely on leading others—not just managing them. Key insights from this week included: Leading vs. Managing: We learned the power of leading by inspiring a sense of ownership and autonomy in our teams. This approach doesn't just manage tasks; it ignites creativity and deepens commitment to our projects, setting the stage for groundbreaking innovations. Promote Deeper Understanding: By adopting a mindset of inquiry, we're equipped to guide our teams through complex problem-solving, uncovering root causes and forging robust solutions. This cultivates a profound level of insight and personal growth among team members. Feedback and Communication Styles: The program taught us the art of tailoring feedback to diverse communication styles, enhancing our ability to foster constructive growth and mutual understanding. This skill is critical in our journey to becoming adept leaders who listen, adapt, and thrive. With these new skills, we're better equipped to lead thoughtfully and effectively as future leaders!

Global Learning and Development Manager at GKN Aerospace

Global Graduate Development Week 3 complete ✅✈️ This time in Munich, the group came together for their 3rd and final development week on the Graduate Program to explore Coaching, Negotiation and Feedback with our learning partners Edit Development. They also explored the importance of strategic planning with Henrik Olofsson from Celemi - Making Change Happen - as always a hugely impactful learning simulation that supported the weeks content perfectly. Wrapped up with a great visit to our friends at the Munich site. As always, a huge thank you to all involved - the facilitators, coordinators, colleagues and partners, as well as this fantastic group of future talent for GKN Aerospace! A great week👏 #globalgraduates #leadershipdevelopment
