Looking forward to this event with the gang at Adarma Security. It's fascinating to see the evolving and broadening threat landscape that many organisations are facing particularly when cyber is seen as a mechanism for much more than intelligence gathering, but disruption and politically incentivised or single-issue focused actors. #aviationsecurity #cybersecurity #cyber #cyberdefense #cyberdefence #threatevolutions #disruptionnotjustintelligence #CNI

The Pentagon’s main network defense command, Joint Force Headquarters-Department of Defense Information Network (JFHQ-DODIN), is set to revolutionize network readiness with the introduction of the Cyber Operational Readiness Assessment (CORA) program starting March 1. This new model signifies a strategic pivot from compliance-based assessments to a focus on operational readiness, enabling more flexibility, agility, and responsiveness to the dynamic and unpredictable cyber threat landscape. CORA is designed to allow commanders and directors to make informed decisions on resource allocation to enhance network security postures, emphasizing adaptability to address both known and unforeseen vulnerabilities. Highlighting its risk-informed approach for defensive cyber operations, CORA aims to prioritize mitigation efforts on critical risk areas, thereby optimizing resource and staffing allocations to safeguard against high-risk adversarial tactics. This initiative represents a forward-thinking strategy to continuously assess and adapt the Department of Defense's cyber defenses to current and emerging threats, ensuring a robust and resilient information network. #pentagon #networkdefense #cyberreadiness #operationalreadiness #jfhqdodin #coraprogram #cybersecurity #dynamicthreats #riskmanagement #innovation Source- https://lnkd.in/gzK2QUvD
