In the past week, from Tuesday to Tuesday, I've been to the office 5 times. 📅 Why is this noteworthy? Well, 5 visits are about as many as I made in an entire year before. In fact, in the last 2 months, I've been to the office as often as I did in the previous 4 years. 🚀 Return-to-office policies are a sure way to make me quit. What I need is intrinsic motivation to come to the office. So, what motivates me? - Amazing colleagues with exceptional social and technical skills 👥💡 - A supportive and engaging culture 🤝 - A workplace that can compete with my home office 🏠 - An office that feels welcoming and comfortable 🛋️ - And, of course, the support of my family since office days mean 12 hours away from home 👨👩👧👦 For me, coming to the office 1-2 times a week is the perfect balance. Office days allow me to build closer relationships with my colleagues and strengthen our teamwork. Home office days, on the other hand, help me maintain a healthy work-life balance and focus on problem-solving without distractions. 🌟 What motivates you to go to the office? This isn't just a pretty backdrop; it's my office for the day. Here's how I keep productive no matter where I am. #RemoteWork #TravelingEntrepreneur That travel photo? It’s actually from my 'office' today. Whether it’s the historical streets of DC, the serene landscapes of Asheville, or the vibrant beaches of Playa del Carmen, my work goes where I go. Many think I'm on a perpetual vacation, but in reality, each setting is a new chapter in my workday. From city libraries to beachfront benches, my workspace is as dynamic as the scenery. 📚🌊 My routine is constant, despite the changing locations. Mornings and evenings are dedicated to deep work, while afternoons offer a chance to explore and recharge. 🌅👩💻 This lifestyle isn’t just about flexibility; it's about integrating work with enriching experiences. Wilmington's coastlines or DC's cherry blossoms — each offers unique moments of inspiration. 🌸🌊 Here's the deal: I work full 40-hour weeks. The only difference? I'm choosing to spend the remaining 128 hours soaking up every bit of life, wherever that might be. ⏳🌍 Whether drafting emails with a view of the Spanish steps or coding from a cozy cafe in San Diego, the essence of my work remains the same, even as the backdrops shift. 💻🎨

Enjoying the Best of Both Worlds 🌍 As someone who predominantly works in the office and occasionally from home, I can appreciate the benefits of each setting. Home working undoubtedly comes with its perks: shorter commute times, fewer distractions, and a better work-life balance 🛋️. I find myself getting loads done without the usual office interruptions. On the flip side, there's something special about being in the office. The collaborative environment, the spontaneous brainstorming sessions, and the sheer energy that comes from working alongside my wonderful colleagues are invaluable. It's a place where team cohesion thrives and where many of our best ideas come to life, you can't beat face to face engagement! The commute can also be a benefit, it is for me. This time allows me to plan my day ahead or unwind after a busy day, and Im lucky enough to enjoy some stunning views along the way 🌳. I took this picture on my way home from work yesterday! Whether I'm preparing for meetings or reflecting on the day's achievements, it's a moment of peace that I enjoy, especially before I join the mayhem of home life with 3 kids 🤣 What's your preference? Home or office? Or both? Let's discuss! 👇 #WorkLifeBalance #RemoteWorking #TeamCollaboration #homeoroffice

During the school holidays, the home office can become a bustling playground. There's little space to work without distractions of screaming toddlers or curious children interrupting. It's a struggle to switch off from family mode and into work mode, and vice versa. 🤔 Maybe it's time to consider co-working or maybe even a dedicated desk? Here's why I think a dedicated desk could be a game changer during the summer holidays and beyond: 🔈 Escape the noise: The space is full of likeminded professionals so loud noise is at a minimum. At Link Spaces we have some calming background music to soundtrack your thoughts. 💪 Stay Productive: You're able to maintain your productivity levels with a dedicated workspace designed to help you focus and meet those pesky deadlines. This is YOUR space for you to set up and leave how you want, so no lugging about your entire office. It really is a home away from home. ⚖️ Balanced Worklife: With a clear separation between work and home, you'll be able to enjoy quality time with your family once the workday ends. Don't let the school holidays disrupt your #workflow. #DedicatedDesk #CoWorking #SummerHolidays #WhereToWork

Ever noticed how Fridays in the office feel a bit different? 🤔 Well, here's my take: With the current 4-day work-from-office routine and the cherry on top being the 'Work from Home Friday,' the atmosphere on that last office day is unique. After four days of hustle and bustle, suddenly the office seems quieter. No face-to-face collaborations, no impromptu team huddles, and definitely no shared tea or coffee moments! Now, I'm more of an 'office person' – the buzz, the energy, I love it all. But I get it, working from home has its perks for many. How's your Friday at the office? Do you feel the same vibes, or are you thriving in the work-from-home setup? Share your experiences! 👇 #OfficeLife #RemoteWork #FridayVibes
