Being an investor and active follower of unfolding events on the Malawi Stock Exchange for +18years, I would like to commend FDH Bank Plc for holding the Investors Forum 2024. This is one of the strategic platforms companies and stakeholders share experiences or visions, make observations and also seek feedback on key issues on investments.
The listing of FDH Bank plc on the Malawi Stock Exchange (MSE) 4 years ago brought the so much expected excitement to investors, customers and all other stakeholders.
In the year 2020 during the FDH bank plc Initial Public Offer (IPO), the bank made available loans to many Malawian investors for the purchase of FDH bank Plc shares. Further to this the model allowed inventors to use the purchased shares as a collateral. This initiative encouraged many Malawians to own shares in the bank. You may wish to know that it is very rare for companies to offer such arrangements. As of today, it is a fact that lives have changed for the better and investors will continue to enjoy the financial independence through capital gains and dividends. Over the +4years period the share price has appreciated from the value of K10, to K77 and is currently at K65.
FDH Bank plc is one of the listed companies that has produced millionaires and billionaires in a space of 4years and continues to make significant profits. The coming in of FDH Bank has so far offset tables in the banking industry. It has given good competition to other players on the market and are always on the lookout on 'what's next.' A market that is competitive is of benefit to investors and customers. When it comes to 'Corporate Social Investment' we can all agree that the writings are on the walls for everyone to see.
Congratulations @ team FDH Plc lets push more.

The Investor Forum is gaining momentum in Malawi as a valuable platform for stakeholder engagement. Traditionally, companies mainly relied on annual general meetings to connect with shareholders on performance. However, the Investor Forum has proven to be a vital channel for timely updates and is cherished for its informal and open nature, permitting a wider spectrum of stakeholders. FDH Bank Plc recently hosted a successful Investor Forum on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, which was a resounding success.
